Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how trials, billing, cancellation and refunds work for The Color of AI Answering Service. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Free trial

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t be charged. We email you about 2 days before your trial ends with a link to cancel.

Monthly billing

If you don’t cancel during the trial, your subscription starts on day 8 and renews automatically every month at your plan’s price until you cancel. Extra minutes beyond your plan are $0.35 each on Starter, $0.30 on Pro and $0.25 on Business, and are added to your next monthly bill.

Cancel anytime

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. Your line keeps working until then, and you won’t be charged again.

Your answering number: when your subscription ends, whether you cancel or it’s cancelled for non-payment, the number we gave you stops answering for your business. If you ask us to release it (you can choose this in your account’s Call Settings), we’ll release the number. Otherwise it stays with The Color of AI and may be assigned to another customer later. If you forwarded your own business number to it, remember to turn off forwarding.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, and we don’t give refunds or credits for partial months or unused minutes, except as described below or where the law requires it.

Goodwill refund: if you contact us at info@thecolorofai.com within 48 hours of your first paid charge (the first charge after your free trial), we’ll refund that charge and cancel your subscription.

Service interruptions: we don’t promise credits for outages or interruptions. If something goes wrong, let us know and we’ll review it case by case.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we’ll email you and retry the card over the next 7 days. If it still can’t be collected, your subscription is cancelled and your answering line stops. You can update your card from your account page at any time.
